Portugal FIFA urged to immediately approve a new statute in accordance with the regulations of FIFA , if you want to escape severe punishment. Portugal Football Federation (FPF) hopes the new statute was approved in the polls on 19 March, despite earlier statute was rejected by the local association because of concerns about loss of influence at the national level .
"If the (agreement) was not reached, the Association will bring the case to FIFA's Emergency Committee to provide the possibility of sanctions, including a ban on playing," the sound of an electronic letter from FIFA's media office.

The sentence itself can threaten Euro 2012 qualification for the Portugal national team, and also the overthrow of Portuguese clubs from European competition, although Porto, Benfica, Braga and has now qualified for the last 16 of the Europa League.
